Mashantucket, CT (February 15, 2023) – Foxwoods® Resort Casino is reporting slot revenue of $28 million for the month of January 2023. This results in a $7.2 million direct payment to the State of Connecticut in accordance with the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation’s long-standing slot revenue contribution agreement. Since 1993, the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation has directly deposited over $4.5 billion of Foxwoods’ slot revenue into the state’s budget fund.

Last month, guests celebrated the Year of the Rabbit at Foxwoods for the Lunar New Year with the annual Lion Dance, where they enjoyed a celebratory performance and parade. Promotions at the resort casino last month included the 50,000 Tier Credits, where five lucky winners had the chance to win 1,000 tier credits, and 4x Tier Credits, where rewards members earned up to 4x tier credits on slots or table games.

Performances that took place at Foxwoods in January included the “Real Housewives of New York City” favorite Luann De Lesseps, who starred in Countless Cabaret, featuring a night of spectacular singing, dancing and entertainment. Additionally, Foxwoods hosted the CardVault Card Show in their newly renovated Rainmaker Expo which featured sports cards, memorabilia, autograph signings, Pokémon, athlete appearances and more.

Earlier this month, Foxwoods rolled out with several promotions for guests. The resort casino announced its Hotel Sale, giving guests the chance to plan their getaway to Foxwoods to receive up to 30% off deluxe rooms, decadent dining options, wall-to-wall shopping and gaming. This promotion ended on February 10.

To enjoy the Big Game at Foxwoods on February 12, DraftKings offered a tailgate buffet for fans to eat and drink in their VIP area to watch while making their picks and placing their bets all night long. TopGolf, Centrale and Atrium also offered guests drink specials for both beers and cocktails during the Big Game, as well as giveaways throughout the night.

Foxwoods Rewards Members participated in the Valentine’s Day Hot Seat on February 14, where they swiped their rewards cards at any promotions kiosk while playing their favorite slot or table games for the chance to win $1,000 in cash plus a box of Godiva Chocolates every 30 minutes. To continue the celebration of love, Cedars Steaks & Oysters offered guests a special Valentine’s Day Menu, including champagne & oysters with caviar and rose pedals, mouthwatering beef wellington, freshly steamed king crab legs, shrimp scampi and an inseparable heart for two for dessert.

Additionally, guests have the chance to enter Foxwoods’ 2023 Subaru Forester Wilderness Sweepstakes. From now until February 24, Foxwoods Rewards Members are invited to earn entries, and one lucky winner will be selected to choose from a 2023 Subaru Wilderness Forester or a cash option of $30,000.  

Looking ahead, Foxwoods will continue to roll out events and promotions you can’t find anywhere else. On February 21, guests can celebrate Fat Tuesday like nowhere else during the $25,000 Mardi Gras Kiosk Game, where they can swipe their Foxwoods Rewards Card at any promotions kiosk to play for their chance to win Bonus Slot Play, Foxwoods Rewards Points or up to $2,500 in cash.

Performances taking place at Foxwoods for the remainder of February include comedian and actor DeRay Davis of February 17, and one of the top comedic voices in the country, Tom Papa on February 18.
