Mashantucket, CT (January 17, 2023) – Foxwoods® Resort Casino is reporting slot revenue of $29.9 million for the month of December 2022. This results in a $7.6 million direct payment to the State of Connecticut in accordance with the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation’s long-standing slot revenue contribution agreement. Since 1993, the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation has directly deposited over $4.5 billion of Foxwoods’ slot revenue into the state’s budget fund.

Last month, Foxwoods celebrated the holidays with several events, promotions and one-of-a-kind experiences, including Boozy Brunch with The Grinch at Cedars Steak & Oysters which featured themed foods, cocktails and a live DJ, and Kids/Teen Week with movie screenings and games. Additionally, guests participated in the $30,000 Holiday Hunt Kiosk Game to win their share of $30,000 in cash and prizes.

To ring in the new year, Foxwoods hosted its annual New Year’s Eve Bash, where guests danced and celebrated the New Year all night long with glamourous performances, giveaways, and drink specials leading up to the Midnight Ball Drop. Guests also relished to performances at Foxwoods last month including powerhouse comedian Kevin Hart, legendary British pop singer Engelbert Humperdinck and adventure-filled musical Anastasia.

Earlier this month, Foxwoods rolled out with several promotions for guests to kick off the new year. The resort casino announced its Hotel Sale, giving guests the chance to plan their getaway to Foxwoods to receive up to 30% off deluxe rooms, decadent dining options, wall-to-wall shopping and gaming. This promotion ended on January 6.

Additional promotions at the resort casino included Pointzilla on January 14 and 2x Rewards Points + Tier Credits on January 15, where Foxwoods Rewards Members used their Rewards Card to play their favorite slot and table games while multiplying their points and redeeming their rewards.

Looking ahead, Foxwoods will continue to roll out events and promotions you can’t find anywhere else. On January 28, guests can celebrate the Year of the Rabbit at Foxwoods for the Lunar New Year with the annual Lion Dance! Located in the Grand Pequot Hotel Lobby, guests can enjoy a celebratory performance and parade while keeping an eye out for the ‘Money God’ who will be giving away Lucky Red Envelopes!  

Promotions at the resort casino this month include the 50,000 Tier Credits on January 26, where five lucky winners will have the chance to win 1,000 tier credits, and 4x Tier Credits on January 28, where rewards members can earn up to 4x tier credits on slots or table games from 7am to midnight.  

Performances taking place at Foxwoods for the remainder of January include the “Real Housewives of New York City” favorite Luann De Lesseps starring in Countless Cabaret on January 28, featuring a night of spectacular singing, dancing, and entertainment. Additionally, from January 28 through January 29, Foxwoods will be hosting the Cardvault Card Show in their newly renovated Rainmaker Expo, featuring sports cards, memorabilia, autograph signings, Pokémon, athlete appearances and more.
