Mashantucket, CT (September 15, 2022) – Foxwoods® Resort Casino is reporting slot revenue of $32.4 million for the month of August 2022. This results in an $8.1 million direct payment to the State of Connecticut in accordance with the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation’s long-standing slot revenue contribution agreement. Since 1993, the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation has deposited over $4.5 billion of Foxwoods’ slot revenue directly into the state’s budget fund.

Last month, Foxwoods offered guests Summerfest Gaming Promotions each day of the week, including Extreme Mondays, Thrill Tuesdays, Winning Wednesdays, Thirsty Thursdays, and Lucky Fridays. In addition, Foxwoods hosted their Bash on the Grass event on Friday nights, which featured a selection of food trucks, summer cocktails and local live bands. Cocktail Carnival also took place at Foxwoods, where guests enjoyed fair treats and a variety of innovative cocktails, with big top performers like jugglers, stilt-walkers, and a tarot card reader. Lastly, the over-the-top garden fantasy Green Gardens event took place, with table-side mixologists and incredible performers.

Earlier this month, Foxwoods wrapped up the summer season with the Liquid Sundays All White Party, the Northeast’s only outdoor Vegas-styled pool party featuring celebrity guests, amazing DJs, a full-service bar, and more. Foxwoods also helped guests save big during their Entertainment Labor Day Sale, where they were able to purchase tickets to see their favorite artists and bands at a discounted rate including Boy George and the Culture Club, Scorpions, Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, Tom Jones and The B-52s with special guest KC & the Sunshine Band.

Foxwoods’ Hotel Sale kicked off from September 5 through September 9, where guests had the opportunity to plan their next fall trip and receive 20% off deluxe rooms. Additionally, Foxwoods Rewards Members enjoyed the 4X Tier Credits promotion, where they were able to earn 4X Tier Credits by playing slots or table games.

Looking ahead, Foxwoods is rolling out exciting promotions through the end of September. Every Thursday, guests can visit any Promotions Kiosk to play the Fall’n Cash Game for a chance to win their share of $25,000 in Bonus Slot Play, Rewards Points, and over 200 winners in cash prizes. Additionally, Pointzilla returns to Foxwoods on September 30, where Foxwoods Rewards Members can use their Foxwoods Rewards Card to play their favorite slot or table games, and guests can multiply their rewards points and redeem rewards.

Performances taking place at Foxwoods this month include household comedian Joe Gatto, as well as the Surrounded by Time Tour featuring Tom Jones on September 16, Hip-Hop stars Ashanti, Jarule, Lil Mo, and Jeremih with East Coast Takeover Vol. 2 on September 17, The Farewell Tour from The B-52s featuring special guest KC & The Sunshine Band on September 29 and television’s longest-running gameshow, the Price is Right LIVE – on stage for a full weekend starting September 30.

Finally, as part of Foxwoods’ monthly donation initiative for the resort casino’s 30^th anniversary, Foxwoods Resort Casino is donating a new scoreboard to the Ledyard Youth Football League, set to be unveiled later this year as a thank you to the surrounding communities that have supported Foxwoods throughout its 30 years.
