Mashantucket, CT (June 15, 2022) – Foxwoods® Resort Casino is reporting slot revenue of $28.4 million for the month of May 2022. This results in a $7.1 million direct payment to the State of Connecticut in accordance with the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation’s long-standing slot revenue contribution agreement. Since 1993, the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation has deposited over $4.5 billion of Foxwoods’ slot revenue directly into the state’s budget fund.

Last month, Foxwoods® Resort Casino announced exciting initiatives and events, including hosting its first Country Weekend, the return of Foxwoods’ Broadway Series, and the $50,000 Dream Summer event.

The debut of Country Weekend brought a weekend-long celebration of iconic country stars to Foxwoods. Guests enjoyed performances from Big & Rich, LeAnn Rimes, Alabama and Larry the Cable Guy, live music from local country bands at Centrale, as well as the heartiest southern flavors to Connecticut including a whiskey-themed saloon night and a barbeque cookout.

Additionally, the popular Foxwoods Broadway Series made its return with Fiddler on the Roof, the hit Broadway musical centered around a heartwarming story of families, love, and laughter. Comedy also continued to shine, with performances from Michael Carbonaro: Lies on Stage and Nikki Glaser.

Guests also had the chance to win big during Foxwoods’ $50,000 Dream Summer event, where they could play slot and table games while earning one entry for every Foxwoods Rewards Point earned. Guests were also able to earn 3X entries for Triple Tuesdays. Kicking off summer earlier this month was Foxwoods’ always popular Royal Rosé event with rosé wine, vodka, champagne, delectable food options and endless amounts of photo opportunities.

Looking ahead to the rest of June, Foxwoods is continuing its 30^th anniversary celebrations with June T-Shirt Tuesdays. Guests have the chance to take home a special edition t-shirt every Tuesday for the rest of the month and will be automatically entered to win additional prizes. Foxwoods is also hosting opportunities for guests to win more each Wednesday in June, with the $100,000 Fun in the Sun Kiosk Game. Foxwoods Rewards Members are eligible to win Bonus Slot Play, Foxwoods Rewards Points, cash, and a jet ski, by swiping their Rewards Cards at any promotion’s kiosk.

The laughs keep coming with upcoming June performances from Nick Swardson, Trevor Noah, and Sal Vulcano. On June 16, characters from the hit TV show The Masked Singer will be performing at Foxwoods’ in the Premier Theatre, featuring surprise celebrity guests. Guests can also catch some of the biggest names in rap and hip-hop on June 17 during Foxwoods’ Hip Hop Remix, with stars including Busta Rhymes, Lloyd Banks, Juvenile, and Mase. In addition, Foxwoods will be hosting some of the area’s most fabulous drag queens the same night for BINGLO, where guests can play games for concert tickets, surprise giveaways, and their chance to win over $30,000 in cash and prizes.

Finally, as part of Foxwoods’ monthly donation initiative launched for its 30^th anniversary, the resort continues to donate to local non-profit organizations as a thank you to the Connecticut community that has supported Foxwoods throughout its 30 years.
