Mashantucket, CT (May 4, 2022) – Foxwoods® Resort Casino – the largest premier resort in the Northeast – is saying howdy to country enthusiasts and guests alike with its one-and-only Country Weekend festival. Kicking off on Thursday, May 12, the resort casino is bringing an iconic line-up of Grammy-Winning talent including Big & Rich, LeAnn Rimes, Alabama and Larry the Cable Guy for a fun-filled weekend of country-themed festivities.

America’s Technicolor Cowboys Big & Rich will be kicking off the festival on May 12, with hits like “Save a Horse” and “Run Away with You”, followed by the iconic LeAnn Rimes and comedy legend Larry the Cable Guy on May 13, and the weekend wrapping with the most awarded band in the history of country music, Alabama, on May 14.

Alongside performances with country’s biggest stars, Foxwoods’ Country Weekend will include additional activities like live country music from local bands at Centrale (located in the Fox Tower) and Live@Atrium Bar & Lounge, a whiskey-themed saloon and lounge (located between the Fox Tower and Grand Pequot Tower), curated food and drink specials, square dancing lessons, and a barbeque cookout at the Celebration Zone, bringing the heartiest southern flavors to Connecticut.
