MASHANTUCKET, CT (January 15, 2020) – Foxwoods® Resort Casino is reporting slot revenue of $21.5 million for the month of December 2020. This results in a $6.1 million direct payment to the State of Connecticut in accordance with the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation’s long-standing slot revenue contribution agreement. Since 1993, the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation has deposited over $4 billion of Foxwoods’ slot revenue directly into the state’s budget fund.
The resort continues to prioritize safety across its team member base. In December, the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation kicked off its distribution of COVID-19 vaccinations with the Fire Department team members receiving the Moderna vaccine. The tribal nation is beginning its vaccinations with first responders and those at most risk, a process that will continue with the Police Department, Tribal Elders, Tribal Council, Tribal Community and Foxwoods Resort Casino team members in the coming weeks and months.
Coming off the new year, there are a variety of safe and fun resort experiences to enjoy this winter at Foxwoods, including a lineup of socially distanced performances for Comedic Corner at Centrale in the Fox Tower, with local favorites like Adam Oliensis and John McClellan. Guests can also win a $5,000 room makeover with the New Year New Room Sweepstakes. From now until January 29, Foxwoods Rewards members can enter for the chance to transform their office, living room or dining area into the ultimate living space. Five lucky winners will be drawn on Friday, January 29 at 8:00pm to receive a $5,000 room makeover. Not a Foxwoods Rewards member? Sign up today at www.foxwoods.com/rewards/signup.
