Mashantucket, CT (December 15, 2022) – Foxwoods® Resort Casino is reporting slot revenue of $27 million for the month of November 2022. This results in a $7.1 million direct payment to the State of Connecticut in accordance with the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation’s long-standing slot revenue contribution agreement. Since 1993, the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation has directly deposited over $4.5 billion of Foxwoods’ slot revenue into the state’s budget fund.

Last month, Foxwoods held its annual Beerfest event at the Resort Casino, where guests sipped on more than 150+ beers from over 70 different breweries, microbrews, brewpubs, ciders, seltzers, and specialty cocktails. Additionally, guests were given the chance to win big with several promotions at Foxwoods, including Pointzilla, 4X Tier Credits and the $25,000 Cashgiving Kiosk Game.

Foxwoods celebrated the opening of their Winter Terrace, where guests can now experience themed igloos surrounded by the warmth of thousands of holiday lights, accompanied by food and drink menus. Additionally, the fan-favorite Golden Dragon Restaurant made its refreshed debut at the Grand Pequot Tower, complete with a dazzling dragon-inspired entryway, decadent modern décor, and expansive, family-sized tables throughout, making it a home to an immersive, elevated dining experience.

Guests had the opportunity to start Black Friday early this year, with discounted ticket rates for shows held at Foxwoods, including +LIVE+ and The Beach Boys. Additionally, guests from Black Friday through Cyber Monday indulged in delicious food and drink specials at different restaurants around the property, while staying the weekend at Foxwoods Resort Casino with discounted tickets for shows like Anastasia, Worship Live Holiday Tour, and The Clairvoyants Christmas. Guests also had the chance to book discounted hotel rooms and suites for their next Foxwoods getaway.

On November 25, Cedars Steak & Oysters transformed into a Christmas Wonderland, complete with massive nutcracker statues and over 10,000 glistening ornaments and lights covering every inch. Guests can invite the entire family out for a meal worth remembering and enjoy a delectable menu featuring seasonal appetizers, dinner specials and cocktails.

Performances that took place at Foxwoods last month included reggaeton pioneers Jowell, Randy and DJ Adoni comedy icon Chico Bean, multi-platinum band +LIVE+, Grammy nominated band Nickelback, R&B legends Boys ll Men, Dru Hill and 112 and musical icons The Beach Boys.

Earlier this month, Foxwoods rolled out many holiday festivities for guests to enjoy. On December 3, Foxwoods hosted its annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony, complete with Christmas performers including Santa Claus, a live musical performance from singer and pop sensation, JoJo, seasonal treats, and a guest appearance from Clark Griswold himself, comedian and actor Chevy Chase.

Breakfast at Cedars kicked off in early December, where Santa hosted a fun-filled holiday breakfast for kids and guests of all ages, featuring festive bites from Cedars’ special holiday menu and personal photo moments for memories that will last a lifetime. Breakfast at Cedars took place on December 3 and 10, with the last being on Saturday, December 17. Additionally, Foxwoods’ held its epic 12 Bars of Christmas pub crawl On December 8, which featured festive drink specials and reindeer games to celebrate the season.

Looking ahead, Foxwoods will continue to roll out holiday events, thrilling promotions, and one-of-a-kind experiences you can’t find anywhere else. On December 18, Cedars Steak & Oysters will host a mean, green Boozy Brunch with The Grinch featuring themed food and cocktails plus a live DJ. From December 26 through December 28, families can keep their children entertained with Kids/Teen Week all winter break. Events include movie screenings, arts & crafts, games, group activities, and more.

Promotions at the resort casino this month include 4x Tier Credits on December 24, Pointzilla! on December 30 and 2x Rewards Points + Tier Credits on December 31, where Rewards Members can use their Foxwoods Rewards Card to play their favorite slot or table games, and guests can multiply their rewards points and redeem rewards. Additionally, on December 25, guests can participate in the $30,000 Holiday Hunt Kiosk Game to win their share of $30,000 in cash and prizes.

To ring in 2023, Foxwoods is hosting its annual New Year’s Eve Bash on December 31, where guests can dance and celebrate the New Year all night long with glamourous performances. Foxwoods will be hosting giveaways, and offering drink specials leading up to the Midnight Ball Drop.

Performances taking place at Foxwoods for the remainder of December include powerhouse comedian Kevin Hart on December 16 and 17, legendary British pop singer Engelbert Humperdinck on December 17 and adventure-filled musical Anastasia from December 29 through January 1.
