Mashantucket, CT (April 15, 2022) – Foxwoods® Resort Casino is reporting slot revenue of $30.4 million for the month of March 2022. This results in a $7.6 million direct payment to the State of Connecticut in accordance with the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation’s long-standing slot revenue contribution agreement. Since 1993, the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation has deposited over $4.4 billion of Foxwoods’ slot revenue directly into the state’s budget fund.
Last month, Foxwoods® Resort Casino announced exciting renovation projects on the heels of its pivotal 30th Anniversary, including the opening of a Sushi By Bou restaurant and one-of-a-kind sushi suite, the re-opening of Wingstop, a new VIP Players Lounge located in the former Veranda Café, CardVault, an unparalleled retail experience for sports cards and collectibles, and an expansive employee-only food court.
Additionally, Foxwoods donated $30,000 to the local Girl Scouts Organizations as part of their monthly donation initiative in honor of their 30th Anniversary. In April, Foxwoods will be donating $5,000 each to a selection of local homeless shelters, hospitals, and organizations, including New London Homeless Hospitality Center, Heart to Heart, Crossroads Rhode Island, Always Home, Habitat for Humanity of Eastern Connecticut, and Liberty Community Services.
Earlier this month, Foxwoods reopened The Mashantucket Pequot Museum, which will remain open through December 2022 on Wednesdays to Sunday from 9:00am – 5:00pm, with the last admission option at 4:00pm. The museum will be hosting Kids Week from April 20 to April 22, as well as an Educational Pow Wow from July 8 to July 9.
Looking ahead to the rest of April, in honor of Easter coming up on April 17, guests can celebrate with Foxwoods’ Easter Kiosk Game for the chance to win $25,000 in cash and prizes, beginning at 9:00am. Additionally, Pointzilla is underway today at Foxwoods, where Foxwoods Rewards Members can be entered into a randomly generated point multiplier, and throughout the day they’ll be able to earn up to 4X Foxwoods Rewards Points.
Foxwoods will be hosting Kids Week from April 18 to April 28 in their Premier Ballroom, inviting families and kids to enjoy arts & crafts, face painting, games, and family-friendly movies in the Premier Theatre.
Lastly, Foxwoods will be hosting a Tacos & Tequila Fiesta on April 23, where guests can enjoy delicious tacos, street food, tequilas, and specialty margaritas. There will also be a celebration in the Premier Theatre, with mariachi music and a mechanical bull.
